Start with the actual travelling party
Two adults and a toddler is a different request from three generations sharing connecting rooms. Count adults, children and infants separately. Mention reduced mobility if it affects hotel choice or transport.
Pace is part of the plan
Families often need more nights, not more activities. A packed ziyarat schedule can look complete on paper and fail on the ground. If you want a quieter rhythm, say so in the notes field of the planner.
Rooms, not slogans
Ask for the room setup you need: twin, family room, extra bed, connecting rooms. Do not assume a provider will guess this from the word “family”.
| Household | Often useful to specify | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Couple | King vs twin, Madinah included or not | Avoids a default twin on a couple trip |
| Parents + children | Room count and extra beds | Night rest affects the whole next day |
| Multi-generation | Connecting rooms, lift access, walking limits | Haram proximity may be non-negotiable |
