A first Umrah guide: decide these things before you talk to a provider

Direct answer

Before you speak to a travel provider, decide who is travelling, rough dates or a month, Makkah and Madinah nights, how close you want to stay, meal needs, whether you need flights, and a maximum budget. Ritual instruction, visa rules and live hotel names can come later and should be confirmed from official or provider sources — not guessed from a website.

Decide these with your household first

A provider can work faster when these are already clear:

  • Names of the travelling party by type: adults, children, infants.
  • Exact dates or a preferred month.
  • Whether Madinah is included.
  • Walking ability and whether closeness to Haram is non-negotiable.
  • A ceiling budget, even if it is labelled flexible.

Confirm these later, from the right source

Visa, permit and entry rules can change. So can airline schedules and hotel availability. UmrahWorldwide does not display live inventory and does not replace official Saudi channels or your chosen provider’s confirmation.

Learning the rites

If this is a first Umrah, say so in the request. A private guide is a preference, not a default. This site offers planning guidance, not religious instruction.

Ready to turn this into a request?

Use the planner to capture dates, stay, comfort, meals, flights, transport and budget. Selected travel providers can then respond with relevant options.
